Day 1- Arrival Meet and assist.
Arrival at Cairo international airport, you will be met by our rep who will assist you in getting your visa, then will escort you to your hotel Fairmont Nile city, Nile view room.
Day 2– Tour the pyramids, sphinx, & the Egyptian Museum.
After breakfast you will meet your guide in the lobby and start your tour to the great pyramids of Giza, you will take a camel ride into the desert with amazing pictures of all the pyramids behind you (voluntary of course), we will visit the sphinx and boat museum. Then a drive to After breakfast this morning, we will head to the Egyptian museum with the most extensive collection of exclusively Egyptian artefacts, including the gold and golden mask of King Tut. Day 3- Fly to Aswan check into the cruise, visit Aswan high dam, Philae temple.
Lunch on board Aswan High dam, Phila temple which is one of many temples moved from its original location because of the construction of the dame. Day 4. Visit Edfu, sail to Luxor.
After breakfast, meet your guide in the lobby to start your tour to Edfu temple by horse carriage ride one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt, that dates back to 237 B.C; this is the only temple where you can see the sacred boat of the god. Day 5- Tour to the Valley of the Kings. Hatsheput and Village of the workers.
You will start your tour after breakfast heading to the Valley of the Kings where you will see tombs looking like they were just carved and painted yesterday. The colours and skill will amaze you, and your personal Egyptologist will explain the purpose and symbols of the journey to the afterlife depicted on the walls. As a special treat, you will see the small but fantastic tomb of King Tutankhamen with his mummy still residing there. We will then visit the Worker Village where you will see the life of the middle class who worked on the tombs; you will have a chance to visit their graves, much smaller than the king’s tombs but well preserved with amazing colours. We will then visit the mortuary temple of Queen Hatsheput and walk up the ramps where her priests paid homage for generations. Finally, on our way back to the cruise ship, we will stop at the Colossi of Memnon, the huge statues of Amenhotep III. Dinner and evening on the cruise ship, Sonesta Saint George Luxury Nile Cruise. Day 6– Luxor East bank including, Karnak & Luxor temples.
After breakfast, we will check out of your fantastic cruise boat and visit the Luxor East bank. We will stop at the largest temple complex in the world, the 64 acre Karnak temple with its oldest parts from 2000 BC and added onto for 1200 years of pharaoh’s dynasties. Then drive to Luxor Temple, much smaller but just as impressive with the remnant of Ancient Egypt, Ancient Rome and even Coptic and Islamic era building, After lunch drive to Luxor airport to catch your flight to Cairo then fly back home.
