Day 1- Welcome to the land of the Pharaohs.
Arrive at Cairo international airport, meet and assist by our representative, and no need to wait for the crowd as he will help you get your visa and then transfer to your hotel. Four Seasons Nile Plaza Nile view room.
Day 2- The Great Pyramids, Sphinx, Solar Boat & Sakkara Step Pyramid.
After breakfast, please meet your guide, start your tour to the step pyramid of Sakkara, one of the oldest tombs in the area with its bright colours dating back to 2600 B.C. Also, we will visit the Pyramid of Unas, where we will enjoy the oldest copy of the Book of the Dead. After lunch at Marriott Mena House, we will explore the great pyramids of Giza, including a camel ride around the pyramids, Sphinx, and the solar boat museum included. Drive back to Four Seasons Nile Plaza Nile view room. Meals, B & L.
Day 3- Egyptian Museum, Hanging Church, Synagogue & Amer Mosque.
Meet your guide, start your tour to visit the Egyptian museum, with the vast collection of monuments that cover Egyptian history, with the golden mask of the boy king Tutankhamen. Mummy court Included. Then we drive to Old Cairo, including the Hanging Church that dates back to 800 A D, and the crypt where Jesus hid with virgin Mary, the Synagogue, and the mosque of Amer Ibn el Asi, the Oldest mosque in Egypt. Back to our hotel, Four Seasons Nile Plaza Nile view room. Meals, B & L.
Day 4 – Tour to Luxor East bank. Including Karnak and Luxor Temples.
After breakfast, we will drive to Cairo airport, catch your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, the AGT rep will escort you to your five stars cruise. Afternoon we will enjoy a tour to Luxor East bank, including Karnak Temple, the largest temple in the Middle East. The temple covers an area of 60 acres. The oldest block in the temple dates back to 2050 B.C… Then we have a tour to Luxor temple, which is much smaller but has a unique taste as it has monuments that date back to pharaohs age, Ptolemaic age, Roman era, Coptic age, and Islamic age, all in one spot, back to Ms. Sonesta Saint George Luxury Nile Cruise. Day 5- Tour to Valley of the Kings. Hatshepsut and the Village of the Workers.
Today you will visit the Valley of the Kings, including three tombs; unique for our travelers, we offer two other graves, Ramses VI, has the best ceiling in the valley of the kings with its bright colors. Also, we include the tomb of King Tutankhamen, which was discovered in 1922. It is the only intact tomb in the valley. From there, we drive to the Village of the Workers. Imagine yourself getting inside the tomb that dates back to 1300 B. C and feels like those colors just painted. You will tour the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the first female pharaoh in ancient Egypt. The temple dates back to 1500 B.C. On our way back to the cruise, stop by the Colossi of Memnon, lunch on board, a free afternoon, sail to Aswan, overnight, Sonesta Saint George Luxury Nile Cruise. Meals B. L & D.
Day 6- Private Tour to Edfu & Kom Ombo. Full sailing, relaxing day.
After breakfast, meet your guide in the lobby to start your tour to Edfu temple by horse carriage; it is one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt and dates back to 237 B.C; Edfu is the only temple where you can see the sacred boat of the Falcon god Horus. Also, it is the best example of a fully intact temple. Back to the cruise to start sailing to Komombo upon arrival, meet your guide again in the lobby to tour Kom Ombo temple after the tour back to the boat for dinner, Sonesta Saint George Luxury Nile Cruise. Day 7- Tour Aswan High Dam, Philae Temple.
Please meet your guide to drive to Aswan High Dam; from there, we will head to Philae temple, one of many temples moved from its original location because of the Dam’s construction. After that, we will explore the granite quarry with the unfinished obelisk. Back to the cruise for lunch. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a sailboat ride on the River Nile, back to Sonesta Saint George Luxury Nile Cruise. Meals B. L & D.
Day 8- Abu Simble By bus. And free afternoon.
Early morning meet your guide, start driving to the gigantic temples of Abu Simbel, built by King Ramses II in 1250 B.C. The temples are located 280 Km south of Aswan, 3 hours’ drive each way. Back to Aswan airport to catch your flight to Cairo to fly back home.
In Case if your flight back home is late we will provide you with a room at Le Meridian airport.
