Day 1-
Arrival Meet and Assist.
Arrive at Cairo International Airport; you will be met by our representative who will help you get your visa, then escort you through immigration, luggage, and on to your air-conditioned bus for your hotel Helnan Dream Land. Later this afternoon you will meet your guide to starting a tour of the civilization museum lunch and back to your hotel Helnan Dream Land.
Day 2-
Saqqara, Memphis, Giza.
This morning after breakfast, join our guide to the famous pyramids of Giza. Roam the Giza desert and capture memories with a photo session. Go camel riding and view the great Sphinx on the Giza Plateau. Then drive to the remains of the Ancient Egyptian capital and religious cult center: Memphis. The name Memphis (enduring and beautiful) gives you an insight into what you’ll witness of amazing statues that immortalized the biography of Egyptian kings: Ptah, Ramses ll, Sekhmet, Merneptahm, and others. Then head to Saqqara for the first built pyramid, also called the step pyramid, where you’ll venture inside its hidden chambers. Visit Unas pyramid which contains the oldest known copy of The Book of the dead. Head to Mastaba of one of ancient Egypt Noblemen we will return to Helnan Dream Land. Meals. B.
Day 3-
Visit the Egyptian Museum and Old Cairo.
This morning, join our expert Egyptologist to explore the Egyptian Museum to view a vast trove of artifacts; some never before displayed. Some of which include the famous golden mask of King Tut Ankh Amun, One of Egypt’s most controversial kings. After that, we’ll travel to Old Cairo to see the city’s oldest temples, synagogues, and mosques. Finally ending back in Helnan Dream Land.Meals. B.
Day 4-
Fly to Luxor and tour Luxor East Bank.
Luxor and Cruise. After breakfast this morning, we will take the 1-hour flight to Luxor to check in on your ultra-luxury cruise, have Lunch on board, and then enjoy a private tour to Luxor East bank. Karnak is the largest temple complex globally, the 64-acre Karnak temple with its oldest parts from 2000 BC and added to 1200 years of pharaoh’s dynasties. Then we will follow the Sphinx avenue to Luxor Temple, much smaller but just as fascinating with the remnant of Ancient Egypt, Ancient Rome, and even Coptic and Islamic era buildings. We will then head to, Ms, Dolphin five stars Nile Cruise. Meals B. L & D.
Day 5 –
Tour the valley of the kings, Hatshepsut Temple, and the village of the workers.
On this day after breakfast, you’ll visit the famed Valley of the Kings, the final resting place for the kings of the 18th, 19th, and 20th dynasties, which was concealed between rocky cliffs. It’s mainly famous for its vivid wall paintings. The walls are decorated with texts and scenes describing one’s afterlife journey giving them instructions to complete their journey successfully. The tombs are open on a rotating basis to protect the paintings from damage by humidity as much as possible.
We will then visit the Worker Village, which describes the life of the ancient Egyptian middle-class life, and how their graves were completely different from the royal class’s graves, small and humble yet honorable, sacred and radiant with colors.
Last but not least, we will pay a visit to the tomb of the great woman pioneer: Queen Hatshepsut. The Temple of Deir Al-Bahri or Queen Hatshepsut’s Temple is situated at the foot of the sheer cliffs fringing the desert hills. The color contrast between the almost white sandstones of the temple and the golden yellow rocks and sand of the desert brings out the Temple in a magnificent image. Having survived the destructive attempts from King Thutmose all, the temple still stands with glory amongst other great temples. And at last, on our way back to the cruise ship, we’ll visit the Colossi of Memnon, they portray Amenophis III, sitting on a cube-shaped throne and once guarded the king’s temple entrance. Day 6-
Edfu, Kom Ombo, and Sailing Day.
Our guide will accompany you on a horse-riding and carriage ride to the Temple of Edfu or the Temple of Horus (Son of Isis and Osiris, God of kinship and power). After the Pagan cult was banned, the desert sand filled up the temple making it one of the most well-preserved ancient monuments of Egypt. At lunchtime, we’ll return to the cruise ship and enjoy the afternoon sliding up the river on your way to Kom Ombo, which rises above the Nile’s bank. The Temple of the gods: Sobek and Horus are represented in the forms of crocodile and falcon respectively. You can feel the atmosphere of this glorious history by strolling along the temple’s colonnades and simply gazing up at scenes of pharaonic ambiance. Continue sailing to Aswan thought the evening. Day 7-
Aswan high dam and Phila Temple.
Taking a break from ancient architecture and viewing one of Egypt’s modern accomplishments: Aswan High Dam. Returning to the ancient Egyptian atmosphere, this time to the Philae Temple complex, which was once the center of Isis (Goddess of life). If it wasn’t for UNESCO’s rescue project, this temple would be buried in a watery grave from the time of the building of Aswan High Dam. Following the temple, we will tour the granite quarry to see a giant obelisk that was quarried in one solid piece. Back to the cruise ship for lunch. There is no better way to enjoy the Nile than the well-known “felucca” trip, then again to Ms. Dolphin five stars Nile Cruise. Meals B. L & D.
Day 8-
Check out of the cruise and fly back to Cairo
Check out the cruise and drive to Aswan to catch your flight to Cairo if your flight is late that day we will provide you with a room at the airport, check into your hotel by the airport Le passage stat at your room till your flight back home Meals B.
