Day 1 Arrival, meet and assist.
Upon arrival at Cairo International, our representative will assist you in getting your visa. Then you will board your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, our representative will be waiting to assist you and escort you to your five-star hotel Sonesta Saint George, Royal Club Room.
Day 2 Tour Karnak and Luxor Temples.
Check out of your hotel and meet our representative who will escort you to your ultra-deluxe Nile cruise. Lunch is on board after which you will meet your tour guide for a visit to Luxor East Bank and Karnak temple, which is the largest temple complex in the world and covers an area of 64 acres. The oldest block in the temple dates back to 2050 B.C. We then follow the avenue of the Sphinx to Luxor Temple, which is much smaller but just as attractive with its remnants of Ancient Egypt, Ancient Rome and even Coptic and Islamic era building. We will then head back for overnight aboard, Sonesta Saint George luxury Nile cruise. Meals B, L&D
Day 3 Venture to the West Bank, including Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut Temple.
Enjoy your Breakfast and after that meet your guide who will take you to the Valley of the Kings that dates back to 1550 B.C. There you will visit three tombs and will also enter the tomb of King Tutankhamun, which is the only intact tomb in the valley as it was the last one to be discovered in 1922. You will also visit the grave of Ramses VI which has the best-preserved ceiling of the valley tombs. From there we will drive to the Village of the Workers, which is one of the genuinely unique sites in Luxor West Bank. The village dates back to 1300 B.C. and includes ruins of the ancient Egyptian workers’ houses and also their tombs, well preserved with vivid colours. We will then visit the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut and walk up its ramps. On our way back to the cruise ship we will stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two gigantic statues of Amenhotep lll. Back to the Sonesta Saint George luxury Nile cruise. We start sailing to Aswan via Esna lock. Meals B.L.&D
Day 4 Private Tour to Edfu and Komombo.
After Breakfast, you will meet your guide in the lobby to start your tour to Edfu temple by horse carriage ride. Edfu temple is one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt and dates back to 237 B.C. at Edfu; you can see the sacred boat of the god Horus to whom the temple is dedicated. It is also the best example of a fully intact temple. Back to the cruise for lunch and sailing. Tea time while sailing. Stop at Kom Ombo to visit the double temple of Horus, the falcon god and Sobek, the crocodile god. Here you learn about the calendar and medicine in ancient Egypt. Back to the cruise. Sail to Aswan. Day 5 Aswan Tour including the High Dam and Philae Temple.
After Breakfast, you will meet your guide in the lobby to start your tour to the Dam. Then take a Moror boat to Philae Temple, which is one of the temples moved from its original location because of the construction of the Dam. Philae temple dedicated to the goddess Isis. After the temple visit, we head to the Unfinished Obelisk in the granite quarry that was used by the ancient Egyptians since the time of the Old Kingdom. Some of its blocks used to pave the area around the Great Pyramids. Back to the Nile cruise for lunch after which we will enjoy a Felucca sailboat ride on the river Nile. Day 6 Adventure to Abu Simbel and flight back to Cairo.
Check out from the cruise to start your tour to Abu Simbel temples and back to Aswan to catch your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, meet and assist by our representative who will check you into your five stars hotel Marriott Mena House, pyramid view room.
Day 7 Explore the great pyramids and the Sphinx, Memphis and Sakkara Step Pyramid.
After Breakfast, you will meet your guide in the lobby for the tour to the great pyramids of Giza and while you are there your guide will take you on a camel ride around the great pyramid area including the sphinx. After that, we will have lunch which will be a local Egyptian meal. After lunch, we drive to Memphis, the first capital of ancient Egypt. Nearby we have the first pyramid and stone building in Egypt, better known as the step pyramid of Sakkara with one of the oldest tombs nearby that date back to 2650 B.C. and surprises with its still bright colours. Day 8 Tour the Egyptian Museum and Old Cairo. Then fly to Jordan.
After Breakfast, you will meet your guide, start your tour to visit the Egyptian museum with its vast collection of monuments that cover Egyptian history, a highlight of which will be the treasure of Tutankhamun including the famous golden mask of the boy king. To save time, we will have a light Egyptian meal known as kushary. Then we drive to Old Cairo and see the Hanging church from 800 A.D., and the crypt where Jesus hid with Virgin Mary, Also, the synagogue, and the mosque of Amer Ibn El Asi, which is the oldest mosque in Egypt. After this, we will drive to the airport to catch our flight to Jordan. Upon arrival at Amman International Airport meet and assist by our English speaking local representative who will help you get your visa, retrieve your bags and pass customs procedures. He will also match you up with the driver who will take you to your hotel in Amman for overnight. Kempinski Amman. Meals, B. L & D.
Day 9 Amman – Petra – Wadi Rum Jeep Tour- Amman.
After Breakfast, visit Petra, the world wonder, a vast, unique city carved into the sheer rock by the Nabataeans. Entrance to the town is through the Souq, a narrow gorge over 1km in length, which is flanked on both sides by soaring 80m high cliffs. The Treasury is merely the first of many wonders that make up Petra. As you enter the Petra valley, you will be overwhelmed by the natural beauty of this place and its outstanding architectural achievements. There are hundreds of elaborate rock-cut tombs with intricate carvings. After Petra drive to Wadi Rum, Valley of the Moon, and explore the fantastic desert by Bedouin 4×4 Jeep for two hours and experience the desert at sunset. Overnight Movenpick Petra. Meals, B & L.
Day 10- Amman-City tour – Jerash.
Breakfast at hotel and then proceed north and start the tour of Jerash, best-preserved city of the Roman era with its theatres, temples and a collonaded street. Back to Amman to visit the Citadel, Archaeological Museum, Roman Theater. Visit and walk the Rainbow Street and visit the Souq in downtown for shopping. Then back to your hotel Kempinski for overnight. Meals, B & L.
Day 11 Amman- the Dead Sea- Airport.
After Breakfast, proceed to the lowest point of our earth, the Dead Sea, where we will have free time at leisure or swimming. Try the muddy sand on your skin. You will be pleasantly surprised to find that you can float on the water due to its high salinity. Transfer to the airport for departure to your home airport.
